Iron Pastry

Join us at Mahon next Thursday, July 23 at 3 p.m. for our annual Iron Pastry. Battle to see who will be the next Teen Iron Pastry Champ. There will be several rounds of pastry (i.e. cookies, cakes..) decorating. Prizes will be awarded. Refreshments provided by Friends of the Library. Call 775-2838 for any questions.

The Last Airbender -- 6:45

Be sure to get there 20 minutes before your movie. If you haven't turned in your 3rd game card be sure to do that before Wednesday.

Movie Extravaganza

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!

Just wanted to let everyone know that our next extravaganza is going to be next Thursday, July 15 at Movies 16. Because The Sorcerer's Apprentice comes out on Wednesday, they are still working on getting the times for next week. We are not going to know the times until late Monday (July 12) or early Tuesday (July 13).

There will be a few afternoon options this time. So let us know which movie you want to see and if you want to see it in the afternoon (around 3 pm) or at night (around 6 pm). The top three afternoon times will be the ones that we see. You must let us know by early Tuesday morning. You can post on the blog, send an email to mahonps@gmail.com or call 775-2838. The movies that we will see (unless they do not have afternoon/night showtimes) are:

Despicable Me -- 95 minutes long
Toy Story 3 -- 109 minutes long
The Last Airbender -- 103 minutes long
Eclipse -- PG 13 -- 124 minutes long
The Sorcerer's Apprentice -- 110 minutes long
