Mahon Chess Club
Starting Monday, June 7 join us every Monday (except July 5) at Mahon Library beginning at 2:00 p.m. for afternoons of chess play. On June 7, Chess Master Susan Polgar, of the Institute for Chess Excellence at Texas Tech, will open our program! Chess sets will be provided. During the course of the summer we will play chess, see videos on chess, and have expert chess players come to give tips on how to improve your game.

Thank you so much for all the programs you do for the children.It has been so much fun with the movies, snacks and so on.Mrs.Erica is one of my good friends and she is so special to me and hopefully to everyone else too!I think she goes there a lot of work to do all the stuff we have at the library.I appreciate all that you do.

ReplyDeleteI think that the summer program you guys put together is awesome! I enjoy every part of it and hope it continues for a while. I also love the new location of Godeke and I think the inside looks great. So thanks a bunch.
